Event disclosure & safety

Attend and participate at your own risk. Driving and outdoor events involve risks, including injury, vehicle damage and loss of property. Consider the conditions and your own ability before taking part; stop or leave if you feel unsafe.

Road rules apply to everyone at all times. Follow all applicable traffic laws, speed limits, parking restrictions and lawful directions. No street racing, burnouts, dangerous driving or driving under the influence. Keep a safe following distance, respect other road users and never break a road rule to keep up with the group.

Take responsibility for your conduct and vehicle. Drivers must hold the appropriate valid licence and ensure their vehicle is roadworthy, registered and insured as required by law. Check your own insurance cover. Look after your passengers and belongings, respect venues and neighbours, and follow reasonable event safety instructions.

This safety notice does not exclude rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. See ACT road rules and safety guidance ↗; rules for the location of each event apply.
